Trio arrested over cannabis seizure

Three men have been arrested after £80,000 of cannabis was recovered.

The drugs were recovered from a vehicle on the A74 (M) near Ecclefechan in Dumfries and Galloway on Sunday.

The vehicle was stopped by a police patrol car on the dual carriageway.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “A quantity of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £80,000 was recovered from the vehicle and three men were arrested and charged in connection with alleged drugs offences.”
