Stewart died in his 89th year on September 18, 2020, in the wonderful care of the staff of Cairdean House, Edinburgh. He loved and was dearly loved by his family, wife Lorna and daughters Alison, Catriona and Janice and their families. Due to the present circumstances, his funeral will be private.
