Dundee deal in Robertson

Dundee’s promising teenage midfielder Finlay Robertson has signed a three-year contract extension.

The 17- year-old made 21 appearance for the Championship club last season after making his debut in the final match of the 2018-19 campaign against St Mirren.

His form won him a callup to the Scotland Under-19 squad and he was also Dundee’s young player of the year.

Manager James Mcpake said: “It’s as important as any other business we’ve done this summer, getting Finlay tied down, particularly with the interest other clubs have shown in him. We believe he is at the right place and Fin, his family and his agent believe the same. We are delighted that he has committed his future to the club.”
