Donald Trump's doctor said the president was 'no longer a transmission risk' but didn’t say if he had tested negative for Covid-19.
@drakkenmensch wrote: “Based on what? Only a negative test would be conclusive, anything else is posturing.”
@libravuitoon wrote: “So a clinically obese geriatric was sent to the ER with Covid, came home after 3 days with 0 symptoms feeling 20yrs younger, and was declared cured, ‘no negative result needed!’ all within 1 week? That the first time in Covid history, he’s 1 in 37,000,000! what a lucky man!”
@zenpoetsociety wrote: “If the President actually tested negative, they would say so. This leads me to believe he is still testing positive. He’s threatening anyone who says so with firing, or worse. No one but medical personnel should go near him, and then only with full PPE.”
@bondkurrt wrote: “They are trying to dance the entire Swan Lake ballet in a minefield around the truth, which is, he either still has it or never had it.”
@michael481 replied: “Or... he had it, and got better quickly because it's not a very debilitating disease to healthy people.” @gr8tefuldaniel adde: “Show us all the tests. Have them notarised. He is a known liar, how do we know he was ever sick at all? Proof, please.”
@chulusee tweeted: “Still infected until published negative test results show otherwise. Never trust a super-spreader.”
#ROBBURROW
A BBC report on rugby league player Rob Burrow, who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December, aired.
@barrettpj62 wrote: “Life can be so cruel but what an inspiration. Only 3 or 4 years ago he was still playing professional sport. I remember his brilliant performances for Leeds, England and GB. Shocking what this disease has done in such a short time.”
@Cormby68 tweeted: “I seriously don’t know what to say, he may be small in stature but he’s got the heart of a lion. As for his wonderful wife, well, I can’t put how strong she is into words, keep battling @ Rob7burrow.”
@nora114 added: “Weeping… what an amazing man and family. A cruel disease being handled with such bravery and dignity. A lesson to us all.”
