Bill of change

-

Justice secretary Humza Yousaf has confirmed his U-turn on the controversial Hate Crime Bill by outlining changes he wants to make to the proposed legislation, which many feared would inhibit free speech.

Hopefully it will, like so much of the legislation introduced by the incompetent Separatist focus group, be amended out of existence.

Nat Culler

More poor quality legislation from the Scottish Government, thankfully named persons never made it into law but we still have the 3 year rule bill. The big council cannot legislate effectively.

Luckie Mucklebackit It seems the SNP are utterly gobsmacked that people cherish free speech. The vast majority of the electorate aren't mindless SNP drones happy to be subjected to a dictatorship enforced by the

SNP thought police.

Brocher

Another can that's destined to be kicked down the road.

Old Man of Hoy

Once again another bit of SNP legislation which nobody in Scotland requested and which does nothing, aside from prove the SNP are incompetent and unfit to lead.

Roastin I've lost count of the U-turns the failing SNP have made now.

Proud 2Be Scots

Laws were already in place that covered this subject. Like Dornan and his Laws at football that were ditched because the Police already could use the existing Laws already in place. The SNP and their Laws are a smokescreen to make the gullible think they are doing something.

Grumpy

Waste of time and money, bin it. complained he would happily have instigated the bill without changes.
