Yellow wall?

- Gerald Reilly

Candidates for seats at the next Scottish election have been announced, and observers say that as many MSPS retire, the SNP could take every constituency seat in Scotland.

The SNP get so many seats because the rest of us split our votes among Conservatives, Labour and

Liberal Democrats. If that situation is not dealt with properly the SNP will get in. If we Scots are all as thick as mince and can't sort that out then we deserve what we get.

Marie Muir What’s your solution? Have you formed a ‘ Conservative, Socialist, Liberal Party’ to cater for this?

Gary Reilly Most unionists believe we're all thick as mince anyway. And too wee. And too poor. The SNP is the only credible party left in Scotland. That is why they'll win.

James Thomas Kilpatrick Trouble is, it’s 50% first past the post, so other parties split the vote. and the 2nd vote for Greens is actually making a mockery of it. It urgently needs revisited, as no one had envisaged that in 1999.

Elliott Sloan Despite the so called polls, with weighted questions, I think Sturgeon’s popularity is diminishing, even within her own ranks.

Unfortunately for her, in her efforts to be seen every day, she’s overexposed herself to the Scottish Electorate. Never a good idea, as she’s revealed an undercurrent to her character that is quite unpleasant.

Fiona Ogilvie Taylor Single party state if ever there was one, Unionists can't do much about it as our vote is split because we have more than a single issue to contend with but we will fight on against these fools for as long as it takes.

Stuart Robb Shouting for independence to be ruled by Europe and end up in debt to the ECB forever. Unbelievable.

Angus West Watch Scotland turn yellow in 2021. Don’t understand why any Scot would vote for an English based party.

Mhari Macrae Just the majority of Scots with brains and common sense.
