Nicola’s irony?

-

As the world waited to get the result of the US presidential election, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said North America needed a President who will ' respect democracy'.

This is eye- wateringly funny, the FM going on about respecting democracy…

Nikoliar Slamondski

Scandalous comment from someone who has not respected the democratic votes of 2014 and 2016. Absolutely disgraceful. You wonder what goes on in her wee head.

James Douglas Nicola should check her own democratic credentials before denouncing others.

Haunted Hamburger Ha ha ha! It's the way she tells them! "This is a once in a generation, a once in a lifetime opportunity"!?

Jock Tamson Proof indeed that on joining the SNP, you have to agree to having an irony bypass. To misquote John Mcenroe… she cannot be serious!

My goodness me, she certainly believes her own press. Sad and laughable in equal measure. Her ego really has taken over pretty much as Salmond’s did and look what became of him. When she falls it won’t be a soft landing.

Old Man of Hoy ... supported in her comments by the leader of the Welsh Assembly. A man who would have to introduce himself by name in a meeting of his supporters in a phone box.

Steve Smith Pot kettle black. What a hypocrite! The only democracy nats around the world respect is when it goes their way. If it doesn't they agitate to do it all over again! And of course, it was always someone else's fault they failed the first time.

Scotland needs a First

kmcn

Minister that will accept democracy!

Stuart Brown We are entering very dangerous times where partisanism is starting to dominate and people begin to view every detail of their lives through a political prism. There is no ' live and let live' any more, only ' us and them'.

( Lux) Not Ron Pretty much sickening coming from her. Maybe she should respect democracy instead of poking her nose into other nation’s affairs.

Andrew Jones Really glad to know what Sturgeon feels about yet another subject that has

absolutely nothing to do with her.

Padley Cloth This is a bit thick coming from the leader of an ignorance- based focus group that will not accept a referendum result.
