Ferrier returns as MP after Covid journey
Margaret Ferrier has made her first Commons appearance since being dropped by the SNP over her coronavirus scandal.
The Rutherglen and Hamilton West MP asked a quest i o n o n T h u r s d a y a b o u t Hong Kong after not speaking for more than a month.
Her appearance via videolink was a clear sign she will continue despite the backlash over her breaching of the rules.
Ms Ferrier has been due to speak about Brexit, only to fail to be called due to time constraints.

“It is clear that she continues to value her salary more than doing the right thing and resigning.”
Last month the shamed MP admitted to travelling from G l a s g o w t o We s t m i n s t e r whi l e awa i t i n g a C ov i d -19 test result, and making the return trip to Scotland when she knew she had the virus.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP Westmins t e r l e a d e r I a n B l a c k f o r d also both called on Ms Ferrier to stand down over the incident.
M s Fe r r i e r h a s i n s i s t e d t h e i n c i d e n t wa s a “b l i p” and claimed the virus made her act out of character. She said: "This has been an awful e x p e r i e n c e , b u t I ' l l k e e p fighting for my constituents because that's who I am."
