SNP pledge free school meals for all primary pupils

@macaninch said: Free school meals for all primary kids teaches: Nutrition is important. Peer modelling gives confidence to try new foods. Reduces class division/ feeling of being different. Could link to nutrition science, culture, social, self care, environment.

@Bobdorissnp posted: Fantastic pledge on extending universal free school meals at #SNP20 - a free breakfast and lunch for ALL primary pupils in Scotland if the SNP are re-elected next year. Proud of my local branch who campaigned on universal FSM over the years and the Scottish government who introduced them.

@Elainepiggot was not convinced: Not sure this is a good use of government money. For those families struggling the help should absolutely be there, no question, but the rest of the money would be better spent in other areas IMO.

@LEZPARKIN was concerned: Who is paying? Scotland's skint.

@Showorth1983 had no worries: Great policy that should be done across UK.

@kittysull1 asks: Why only if elected? They’ve had years to do it! Kids should not be used as a political bargaining chip; if they can do it in 2022 they can do it now.
