Summer fun Rising star

-

Summer holidays abroad could be back on the cards for millions of Britons next year, the Government’s coronavirus vaccine tsar has predicted. Kate Bingham said that while the virus would never completely disappear, by the summer of 2021 “we should be in a much better place to get on planes”.

I’ll be happy just to get out of Edinburgh. Furthest I’ve been is Straiton!

Lorna Allen Why should peope take the vaccine if they dont want to. It should be their choice and they should still get to go on holiday if the want, It shouldnt be dictated to them what to do.

Amy Mac It’s a smple choice whether to get the vaccine. For every action there is a consequence. By refusing to get vaccinated you pose a risk of infecting others. Why should people be exposed to risk by your decision? So the choice is simple: no vaccination no foreign holidays. If someone doesn't want to sit a driving test would you suggest that they could still drive a car on the public roads?

Iain Lancastle

No-one is dictating in the UK but oher countries have the right not to let tourists in without vaccination. We can’t tell them what to do.

Sheila Linscer

I assume that she’s contacted the governments of all the relevant foreign countries to confirm that they’ll allow us pox-ridden individuals in . . .
