Brown joins national financial services at Aberdein Considine
Aberdein Considine has strengthene d i ts n at i o n a l f i n a n c i a l s e r v i c e s team with the appointment of Greig Brown as Mortgage Operations Director. Brown, who brings almost 20 years’ experience in financial ser vices, joins Aberdein Considine from Mor tgage Advice Bureau in S cotland where he was Head of Op erations. He will b e based at the firm’s Edinburgh flagship office in Multrees Walk and his new role will see him take on overall responsibility for all mortgage operations and mortgage advisers across 19 offices.
● The Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group has promoted two of its senior colleagues to director level. Katie Wood, who moves into the role of Director of Care Standards, and Clare Allen, the group’s new Director of Nursing Homes Operations, will also join Managing Director, Peter Mccormick and Director of Nursing, Ingrid Neville on the group’s b oard. Katie joined R andolph Hill as Care Standards Manager in 2018 after working for 15 years at the Care Inspectorate. With an extensive background in health and social care, Katie is a registered nurse who holds degree-level qualifications in community health nursing, regulation of care and dementia studies. In her new role, she will be responsible for care standards compliance and resident welfare across R andolph Hill’s seven n u r s in g h o mes. Cl a r e i s a r egi s - tered nurse and registered manager with over 30 years’ experience in the elderly care sector. She initially joined Randolph Hill in 2002 and was promoted into the role of Group Nursing Manager last year.
After seven years on the governance board – and three years as chair – John Forster will step down from his position at Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC), as the organisation seeks a new chairperson to help shape its future strategy and drive its evolution into a second phase. Forster – who is also chair of the Forster Group – will step down from the role early next year, having led the governance board of CSIC since 2018. He has been part of the innovation centre’s leadership group since 2014. The new chair will take over at a critical time for CSIC, as the sector continues to recover from the impact of Covid-19 and industry leaders look towards longterm transformation and collaboration for a zero-carbon future.
