Covid restrictions around takeaway and click and collect services in Scotland are to tighten. Collections must also be outdoors, with appointments staggered to avoid queuing. And takeaways can no longer allow customers indoors, and must instead operate from a hatch or doorway.
@Oliviag37717638 asked: “Is there scientific evidence to show these measures are right to be taken?”
@kimjones62 replied: “The evidence is in the impact this is having on the NHS. More people are in hospital and we need to be careful the NHS doesn't become overwhelmed. She's right to put more restrictions in place because folk don't seem to be getting the message or the numbers wouldn't be increasing.”
@shonabroon posted: “So the four or five standing outside a takeaway are now to blame but the thousands of shoppers in supermarkets are not! Absolute nonsense.. Once we open up the numbers will rise and we’ll be back to square one. It’s not going anywhere. Need to live with it.”
@standsure73 said: “We have been asked to stay at home as much as possible and this isn’t being adhered to. Remove the access to non-essential retail that people are using as an excuse to leave home and this will have a knock-on effect of less movement and less transmission. Simple really.”
@scottiepark45 added: “The only time I get exercise is when I walk up for my takeaway...”
#BITCOIN
Prgrammer Stefan Thomas has forgotten the password that will let him unlock a hard drive containing $240m (£175m) worth of Bitcoin. After ten failed attempts, the password will encrypt itself, making the digital wallet impossible to access.
@Glencopywriter said: “I think that's the main problem with the digital world… keeping so many passwords in mind. How do you think we can solve this?”
@Crasus_yeli replied: “Use a password manager app. If you aren’t using a system on a daily basis you are most likely going to forget it.”
@Unrealcafe posted: “1234 is very hard to forget. That's why I use it.”
@Ardillacaliente commented: “If he hasn't looked up his digital wallet for a decade he probably doesn't need the money anyway.”
