It came as Malaysian prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has unveiled a new 15 billion ringgit (£2.7bn) stimulus to bolster consumption, with the economy expected to reel from a second coronavirus lockdown and an emergency declaration. And the national unity ministry has allocated 1.55 million ringgit to 115 areas to produce personal protective equipment.
