MG offers free car loans to good causes

MG is to lend 100 electric cars to good causes for free to help keep staff mobile during lockdown.

The car maker made its vehicles available to the NHS and its partners during the first lockdown and has now extended the offer to help charities and other local support agencies.

The MG ZS electric SUVS willbeoffe­redfreeofc­harge to local causes identified by MG’S network of dealers, with deliveries beginning this month.

Members of the public are being encouraged to nominate suitable causes which would benefit from the scheme. To do so, visit mg.co.uk to find your nearest dealer and contact them with details of the organisati­on.

MG Motor’s sales director, Guy Pigounakis, said: “We were delighted to help support the NHS and its partners through times of crisis. This time, we’re extending the initiative to allow our network to support other essential causes in their communitie­s that might be struggling with transport, such as foodbanks,healthcare­transport schemesand­localchari­ties that provide vital services within the community.”
