SEASON OVER FOR BRANDON

Hearts defender Jamie Brandon will undergo surgery next week after rupturing a cruciate knee ligament.

The injury, sustained during a practice match at training, rules him out for the rest of the season. The 22-year-old, inset, is scheduled for an operation in the coming days before beginning several months of rehabilitation.

“Unfortunately Jamie is going to be out for the rest of the season,” said Robbie Neilson.
