#IMPEACHTRUMP

Donald Trump's impeachment trial over his role in the deadly US Capitol riot is poised to begin next week in the Senate, reports suggest. The House of Representatives last week charged Mr Trump with inciting a deadly riot at the US Capitol, paving the way for a Senate trial. @redheadshaffer said: “The rioting at the Capitol was horrific, but to spend more time and more money pursuing this when we have so many other pressing issues, seems like a colossal waste.”

@Kingriach posted: “So much for healing a divided country!” @nikita_romanovs responded: “Healing a divided country does not mean letting Trump off the hook. He’s dangerous, and no instance in his presidency demonstrates otherwise. It’s right and proper that he’s getting impeached.” @Dictatordiana commented: “If we don’t try to impeach, then it shows that any president can just commit an impeachable offence right before leaving office and face no consequences.”

#JAMESBOND

The release of the next James Bond film has been delayed for a third time because of the coronavirus pandemic. No Time To Die will now debut globally on 8 October.

@Allcheese1 said: “I'd maybe consider changing the name of this film lads.” @Ironworks1990 posted: “As much as I want to see films in the cinema, that would be an 18-month delay for a film that is 100 per cent complete. Just put it on VOD now.” @Wellimjustsayi1 commented: “Glad in a way. I hope it's my first film back at the cinema.” @Anthonyjohng remarked: “No Time To Die? How about a time when we can actually watch the movie? Put it on pay per view otherwise it will be as stale as last week's bread when we get to see it.” @Davidga66668758f asked: “Is this the film where Bond gets the girl, kills the bad guy and saves the world?”

@parmaham5 replied: “You’ve just ruined the movie for me!”
