A handful of complaints were received by police about the Prime Minister allegedly breaking lockdown rules by visiting Scotland yesterday.

@rugbywarrior wrote: “He has the right to travel here as it’s work. But he was wrong to choose to exercise that right.”

@smoothroscoe replied: “Only if that work can’t be done at home? He’s been invading our homes on a regular basis on TV since last year, I’m sure he could’ve done the same with his address to the Scottish folks, absolutely no need to go.”

@jquinn67 asked: “Does he realise that elbow bumps are against his own social distancing guidelines?”

@Bryn_cartwright wrote: “A big win on the road to Scottish independence... After 100k deaths he should be behind bars and not on a jolly”

@bjmalyon tweeted: “If he didn’t travel the country actually seeing what is going on, the journalists would all be saying why isn’t he? Damned if he does or damned if he doesn’t."

@green_woman1 wrote: “You know we don't like unfairness. He's undermining an essential public health message for a wee jaunt. Wonder when he's planning to visit Wales and NI if it's so important for him to be visible. Hope the polis follow up.”

Former Prime Minister Davd Cameron’s wife Samantha says her fashion brand is finding postbrexit trading with the EU "challenging and difficult".

@dearjulia88 asked: “And whose fault is that?”

@captainswing666 tweeted: “Maybe she should have a word with her husband. It was his stupid idea.”

@heljopops said: “Have a word with David. His hubris and incompetence brought this all about in the first place. A good tongue lashing isn’t out of order, though hardly enough."

@Ianpounder1 said: “She should have a chat with Liam Fox and see if he can point her in the direction of the ‘massive’ global opportunities that he claims Brexit provides...”

@junesim63 wrote: “There are huge numbers of small fashion companies finding trading difficult or going to the wall. They haven't the backup of a millionaire husband to bolster their enterprise, unlike Cameron.”
