Distant advice Tory warning

-

A new strain of Covid was found, experts reiterated that the best way to beat the virus is to limit chances for it to spread.

Not much chance of that. People will just carry on as normal doing what they want. You just have to look out your window to see people popping in and out of each other’s homes, mums and tots groups meeting etc.

Lesley Anthony But let's send the kids back to school.

Why after 78 why years do we still get an influenza vaccination for seasonal flu, because viruses mutate. So what’s different this time?

Ricky Hobson

Yaaas more lockdowns on the way.

The Scottish Conservatives have warned Nicola Sturgeon they will force a vote on whether she misled Parliament if her husband and chief executive of the SNP, Peter Murrell, fails to appear in front of the Alex Salmond inquiry for a second time.

Why? If he is innocent there’s nothing to fear.

Laws Kanda They may ask, but it is not their place to demand anything. They are an increasingly irrelevant minority, whose political posturing is both annoying and risible. By all means let justice prevail, but the Tories are not the arbiters of anything really important in Scotland, nor is justice for them to define. It is for a court to decide, on this matter.

Charles Mackay I couldn’t agree more, stop this inquiry now and bring in the judiciary, as it should have at the beginning – this was a crime against a man, who incidentally, I can’t stand and I am not an SNP supporter, but they are alleged to have colluded to frame a man, and take away his liberty and incarcerate him. That charge should have been in a court of law, not a room in Holyrood with an SNP person in the chair

– it was all wrong and set up to fail.

Andrea Sinclair

I agree the whole sorry mess should be referred for a Judicial Review.

Fiona Ogilvie Taylor

He has a duty to the people of Scotland to attend.

Catherine Mackenzie Forget politics. Remember morality. A judicial review is the only solution.

Jillian Hall

I think the Scottish Parliament should simply be closed down. It now has a parcel of rogues who can vote to ignore law. It is a charade, a dictatorship.

Martin Allan Truth does not matter to the SNP does it? But it will eventually come out, hopefully before any elections.

Allan Forrest

As long he fails to appear this is never going away.

Mark Taylor

He’s probably forgot what he’s been told to say!

Sam Auld Does the Scottish parliament have no sanction? He is making fools of the committee – while his wife said she would provide the committee with all the evidence it required…
