NISSAN GIVES PRICING FOR NEW QASHQAI

Nissan has confirmed pricing for the first version of its all-new Qashqai.

The third-generation of the best-selling family SUV was unveiled in February and is due in showrooms soon, ahead of customer deliveries beginning in the summer.

Ahead of the full range going on sale, Nissan has revealed pricing for the limited-run Premiere Edition which will be the first model available to buyers.

The high-spec model will be available in two variants, priced from £29,270. Buyers will be able to choose from a 1.3-litre mild hybrid petrol with 138bhp and a six-speed manual transmissi­on or a 156bhp version of the same engine mated to a Xtronic automatic gearbox. The auto version will cost £31,790.

Nissan says the all-new version of the Qashqai will reaffirm its place in the market with new drivetrain­s, technology and improved passenger space.

Premiere Edition models will showcase the range’s latest technology with a nineinch central touchscree­n for navigation and media alongside a 12.3-inch digital instrument display. They will also feature a 10.8-inch head-up display, adaptive LED matrix headlights and be available with the brand’s Propilot driver assistance pack.

Standard equipment also includes a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, wireless phone charging and wireless Apple Carplay, four USB ports and home-tocar connectivi­ty with Google Assistanta­ndamazonal­exa.

Premiere Editions will be offered in a range of two-tone exterior finishes which contrast a black or grey roof with blue,greyorwhit­ebodywork.
