GMTV presenter Kate Garraway shared husband Derek Draper’s ongoing battle to recover from coronavirus in a powerful documentary.

@glutenbee wrote: “Kate, you’re a beautiful angel. You are a wonderful amazing lady. I’m sending you love and light for a positive loving future for you Derek and all your family. Stay strong. You’ll find your Derek.”

@officialch tweeted: “L ove that Kate Garraway is just a normal person. You can tell a lot from a person by their house. No matter her fame, she’s just a working Mum doing the best for her family.”

@Dramirkhangp said: “What an incredible woman. What a beautiful family. Heartbreaking and inspiring.”

@jelly885 wrote: “T hank you for allowing us into your life and your family’s too. Your strength and devotion to your husband and children is what makes you such a strong lady. Your love and strength for each other will get Derek through this. You are an inspiration.” @Richardkelsey5 said: “Could have happened to any of us, frightening.”

John Lewis said it will not reopen eight of its stores once lockdown eases – including one in Aberdeen – putting 1,465 jobs at risk.

@Billbuffalino suggested: “Petition to convert the John Lewis building into Aberdeen’s new stadium.”

@_ttocs_ replied: “Scrape off the moss, paint the concrete stripes red and white, away we go.”

@zzserthzz tweeted: “They sell the same products as elsewhere, almost always for more... sometimes almost 30% as much as other stores. It was a stupid business that existed simply for people to feel superior, at least recently.”

@DAW4 replied: “They still have the never knowingly undersold policy so if you see it cheaper, tell them, and they (usually) match the price.”

@corbytun tweeted: “That's so sad for John Lewis. All these closures and cuts makes me wonder if we will ever get back to normality.”

@onlyafairytale wrote: “More John Lewis store closures, soon town centres will be little more than coffee shops and vape/mobile phone stores.”
