Pervert caught by police officer posing as 13-year-old girl
A pervert who sent disgusting movies of himself to a detective posing as a 13-year-old schoolgirl has been caught in an undercover police sting. Kozlowski contacted the social media account of a youngster called Sophie and sent pictures of his genitals and videos of him performing a solo sex act.
Kozlowski, 31, used the online name of ‘Gentle PDO’ to send “sexual is ed conversations” and the images on the snap chat a pp last year.
But in reality he was in fact in contact with an undercover police officer who was part of a team attempting to sn are online sex offenders.
Officers then raided his flat in the Wardieburn area of Edinpatryk burgh and during a search discovered several electronic devices that contained more than 400 horrific indecent images of children.
Kozlowski pleaded guilty to three child abuse offences when he appeared at edinburgh sheriff Court last Thursday.
Fiscal depute anna robertson told the court Kozlowski started messaging the Snapchat account belonging to ‘Sophie’ in June last year and the chats soon moved to Skype.
The pervert then sent disgusting sexual comments to the account over the following two months. Ms Robertson added: “During the course of the conversation he sends a video where he is seen and heard to be masturbating.”
The fiscal said following his arrest Kozlowski, currently of Leith, was examined by a doctor and “skin pigmentation on his genitals matched that of the video sent”.
The court was told police seized a laptop and two mobile phones from Kozlowski’s flat and found a total of 451 child abuse images with 43 rated as Category A - the most depraved end of the spectrum.
Solicitor Sandy Raeburn, defending, said his client was a first offender and would reserve his full mitigation to the sentencing hearing. Sheriff Wendy Sheehan placed Kozlowski on the Sex Offenders’ Register and deferred sentence to next month.
Kozlowski pleaded guilty to possessing, and taking or allowingto be taken, indecent photos of children a this home between May 1, 2012 and September 23 last year.
