Bent coppers abounded as the BBC’S crime drama ended its sixth series.

@nibo1960 wrote: “I watched the last episode of #Lineofduty , and thought it was a very weak ending.”

@ianstraus asked: “What the hell did I honestly just watch in that Line of Duty finale?”

@Tiniwanatalks said: “The two female prison guards in Line Of Duty are so good at their job I actually hate them.”

@demiranne tweeted: “Everyone slating #Lineofduty, no one has ever said ‘H’ is a hard-faced thug. We’ve made that up ourselves as an audience, no doubt due to the violent nature of crimes. Jed Mercurio has been very, very clever in his writing.”

@fearanloathin said: “Line of Duty better have another season after that ending.”

@Danni_fx wrote: “Line of duty was never going to have a satisfying ending.”

@photomattography tweeted: “Cracking ending! I love how the public didn’t get an ending that was neatly wrapped in a bow, but Supt. Hastings, DI Fleming, and DI Arnott did. People praised Line of Duty for its realism, but then got angry with a realistic ending." @costabase deadpanned: “No comment.”

#LIVERPOOL

As lockdown rules ease, Liverpool hosted a test event for 3,000 clubbers, where attendees did not need to wear masks or socially distance. People at the club needed a negative Covid-19 test before entering.

@thatssoderek wrote: “While getting back to ‘normal’ is certainly a nice dream. to be honest I cannot think of anything worse than a nightclub with 3,000 people.”

@akaroa614 said: “Oh, my, 3,000 partygoers? I don’t think that was a good idea. ”

@beastmorphersx replied: “Seriously 3,000 people and not one person is infected with #Covid19. Yeah right. UK must want to be the new #India.”

@Mistawwfc said: “Chuffed to bits that we're taking the first steps back to normality! Signing off reminiscing about raves in Anjuna and Ibiza...”

@slrtib asked: “I only hope and pray this 'experiment' doesn't go wrong because if it does there's a very good chance Liverpool will be shut down again. Why was the 'experiment' done in the farthest large city (in England) from the capital?”
