West Brom slipped closer to Premier League relegation despite Mbaye Diagne earning a 1-1 derby draw with Wolves.

The striker struck in the second half but the Baggies stillneedaminormiracleto stayintheenglishtopflight.

They remain second bottomandaretenpointsfrom safety with only four games left having fallen behind to Fabio Silva's first-half fluke. The Baggies could now be relegated before they go to Arsenal next Sunday.

Albion never looked like earningamuch-neededwin against mid-table Wolves, despite Diagne's leveller, as the visitors were denied a first win at The Hawthorns for 25 years.

Wolves, who sit 12th, also failedtohittopgearbutwent ahead when they grabbed a lucky opener in first-half stoppage time. Semedo poked the ball towards Silva and although Kyle Bartley reached it before the striker his clearance cannoned off Silva's standing leg and looped in over Johnstone.

Diagne had been starved of any decent service but Townsend finally delivered the perfect cross for the striker to power in a header to equalise.

Michail Antonio scored twice as West Ham came from behind to defeat Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor and edge to within three points of a top-four spot.

Chris Wood had put the Clarets ahead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute after he had been felled by Tomas Soucek’s clumsy challenge.

The Hammers were level within three minutes when Antonio headed home Vladimir Coufal’s cross and sealed the victory with a close-range finish on the half-hour.
