Nicola Sturgeon announced yesterday that Moray would ‘regrettably’ move down to Level 2 Covid restrictions and Glasgow would remain in Level 3 for at least a further week.

Why regrettable? A few ruined it for the many, get your city in order Nicola, take action, don't hold regret.

Kyle Danko And so say all of us.

Jean Boyd I know, I couldn’t believe it either, all those people trying to stop the police and immigration service going about their lawful duty.

Trevor John Taylor The only way to end it all is ‘non-compliance’. Following the rules for over a year hasn’t worked out, has it?

Mickey Edwards The Indian variant is now being called the April 02 variant by the Scottish Government. Why? 'I think it's... important for us not to allow this virus to divide us as communities and people' says Humza. It seems it's still OK to refer to the Kent variant though.

Not a Lemming

There are many in our society and elsewhere who are quick to seize any opportunity to post-rationalise their longstanding, deep-rooted and totally illogical hatred of Indians and others of different nationality or ethnicity. I wonder how many Rangers supporters in central Scotland will moan about the high incidence of Covid in Glasgow and whinge about the city having to stay in Level 3 restrictions.

Iain Mackenzie Is the “new” variant the Indian one? If so why not call it by its name. [Sturgeon] did with South Africa, Brazil and Kent variants.
