Signia Silk 1NX Product Overview By Lead Audiologist Joan Mckechnie

Over the last 10 years, Hearing Direct has been selling hearing aids directly to customers and I’m excited to now be working in partnership with Signia Hearing, one of the world’s largest Hearing Aid manufacturers to bring their Signia Silk 1NX direct to you.

This in-the-ear product delivers a natural hearing experience with its discreet size, instant fit and good sound quality. In most ears, it is difficult to see whilst still being very easy to use. (The main image above shows you what the Silk 1NX looks like in my own ear). Before introducing the Silk 1NX to our range, a number of new and existing Hearing Direct customers took part in our own internal trials. Based on their positive experiences, I am now confident to include the Silk 1NX in our hearing aid portfolio.

One of the biggest advantages of this new device is that it can be controlled through an App on a smartphone (Apple and Android). The App provides volume, tone and listening programme controls and a battery level check. If you don’t have a smartphone, don’t worry – a pocket remote control (pictured) can be purchased alongside the Silk 1NX.
