The Queen held a Council at 2.30pm. There were present: the Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt. Hon. Oliver Dowden MP (Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport), the Baroness Evans of Bowes Park (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal) and the Rt. Hon. Matthew Hancock MP (Secretary of State for Health and Social Care).

The Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-mogg MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

The Rt. Hon. Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of Her Majesty, this morning held an Investiture at St. James's Palace. By command of The Queen, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Professor Arkady Rzegocki at 47 Portland Place, London W1 to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Poland to the Court of St. James's. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Catherine Street, London WC2, and were received by Ms. Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
