The finals got off to a distressing start as the former Tottenham midfielder suffered a cardiac arrest during the Danes' group opener against Finland in Copenhagen.
Denmark lost that match after it resumed that same dayandthenfelltodefeat to Belgium, only for the neutrals' favourites to roar to victory against Russia and qualify as runners-up in Group B. Wales were brushed aside 4-0 before the Danes beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in their Baku quarter-final.
"We're excited, we're looking forward to playing once again," said the Denmark head coach, inset. "And we know we're not done yet. We knowthatwecandomore.of course there is a lot of pressure on England but we also know that we have to take advantage of this situation.
"There is some psychological factors in the game. They have a lot of supporters but we also have to remember that they have a lot of pressure and a lot of expectations, so I don't think it's going to be so easy for them.
"We just believe that we can take advantage of the pressure England feel." "There's communication between the playersandchristianand I have talked with himandi'vetoldhim so many times that I think about him," Hjulmand said when asked about the 29-year-old midfielder.
"Even when we got in here, I thoughtthatwewouldplayto Wembley in his old stadium, so he is with us and we still playforandwithhim.there's no doubt about that.
"That's the only thing I can say about Christian. I hope that if he comes to the final that we're going to be playing it. It would be amazing."
