#NICOLASTURGEON

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar claimed Nicola Sturgeon would ‘rather take selfies with global leaders’ than meet frontline cleansing workers in Glasgow threatening strike action during COP26.

@Broomybilly wrote: “Clean them? They'll have the roads dug up and relayed before the 1st visitors are through customs.”

@55titles2021 said: “Rats make Glasgow. Rats run Glasgow.”

@Fjebb88 said: “I hate to agree with Labour – but he is correct.”

@scotsangel1 tweeted: “Absolute pish, Labour totally wrecked Glasgow when I was a kid, they pulled down houses left right and centre, there was rats the size of dugs running in the street, bin men went on strike and army had to come in clean the streets of rubbish.”

@worriedscot1 said: “Can we all assume you think Glasgow is not filthy and rat ridden at the moment? That is the issue right now!”

@belhavenbear wrote: “At the height of peak Sturgeon all she will be remembered for is a manky city and rats. She would have preferred separation from the UK as her epitaph.”

@paul1953uk wrote: “Surely you want our FM to represent Scotland on the world stage. You sound very parochial.”

#CONVERSION

The UK government has set out its plans to ban gay conversion therapy in England and Wales, with a six-week consultation. @Nayxsuper tweeted: “wait… this wasn't banned already? God, this country is a mess.” @Pogmothoin74 said: “About time! I look back on my time of conversion therapy and I can’t believe I’m alive today to put lightly. I was told marriage would change my illness. Lots of lives and relationships destroyed. All in the name of god. This should be made into law, banned and those practising punished!” @lunardawn99 wrote: “I’m surprised this hasn’t happened already!” @keelerinstinct added: “How was this not banned 50 years ago? Totally shameful. It's like hearing your country still practices slavery”.”

@Broltsjackv2 wrote: “How is it not banned already? Insane.”

@joha7127 asked: “Can we also ban indoctrinating children into believing they're a girl in a boy’s body?”
