Double delight at South Lanarkshire site

Development in Jackton unveils two grand five-bedroomed house types, writes Sarah Devine

-

House buyers are now able to view a duo of grand showhomes at Sequoia Meadows, in Jackton, South Lanarkshire, which have been launched by Cala Homes (West).

The five-bedroom Kennedy and Darroch house types are impressive detached properties, with interiors designed by Alison Harding of AMW Designs in Glasgow.

The Kennedy model is generously proportioned and has been designed to maximise family living. It has a formal lounge covering 202sft of space to the front of the ground floor, and an open-plan kitchen-dining area to the rear. This leads to a 179sqft family space featuring bi-folding doors opening to a patio in the rear garden, bringing the outside in.

A separate utility room reduces noise from appliances and the integrated garage is large enough for two cars.

Upstairs, the light and airy landing leads to an impressive master bedroom boasting a dressing area, two integrated wardrobes, and an ensuite shower room with his-andhers sinks.

Bedroom two is also ensuite, and all bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

The fifth bedroom is slightly smaller and can easily be transformed into an office or study.

The Darroch is similar in its floor plan, but is slightly smaller than the

Kennedy, with the exclusion of the family area to the rear.

Its open-plan kitchen-dining area also benefits from bi-folding doors and a utility room.

The Sequoia Meadows homes come with stylish Silverbirch kitchens, boasting designer integrated appliances, while the bathrooms include Laufen white sanitaryware and glass-finished shower enclosures.

The development is in a semirural location on the outskirts of Newton Mearns, seven miles south of Glasgow city centre. It is a 40-minute drive to Ayr or

Livingston, and less than half an hour away from Glasgow Airport.

There are a range of amenities in the village of Jackton and days out for the whole family can be enjoyed at nearby James Hamilton Heritage Park, with its 16-acre loch and watersport activities, or Calderglen Country Park with its tropical glasshouse, golf course, children’s zoo, ornamental gardens and country walks.

Sequoia Meadows features a range of one and two-bedroom apartments, as well as a collection of three, four and five-bedroom terraced, semi-detached and detached homes. Prices range between £220,000 and £299,995.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director for Cala Homes (West), says: “It goes without saying that we are excited to really showcase the lifestyle on offer in Jackton with two incredible new showhomes.

“Both the Darroch and Kennedy are popular home styles and, thanks to our high-quality specification and style, as well as the outstanding interior design, potential buyers can really get an insight into life at Sequoia Meadows.

“Appointments to view are filling up fast so I would recommend getting in touch with the sales team to make sure you don’t miss out.” For more information or to book an appointment, go online and visit www.cala.co.uk
