#SUNDAY MORNING

Laura Kuenssberg to take over BBC polticis show from Andrew Marr

@Vdweller – said of yesterday’s programme: Clive Myrie was a very good replacement on BBC Sunday Morning today. Clear, focused questions. Interesting topics. Allowing interviewers to answer the questions. Like Victoria Derbyshire he is an asset to the BBC and miles better than other presenters.

@Timpollard2 added: Sarah Vine appalling. Partygate pay the fines, move on, no discussion about lying to Parliament. David Warburton - “I feel sorry for him, midlife crisis” – what? “If you’re in the public eye you can’t behave like that - so OK otherwise?

@Keithbunting007 also though Vine was wrong

– On Sunday Morning on BBC, Sarah Vine said ‘I feel sorry for him,’ in talking about David Warburton. No expression of feeling sorry for potential victims. Apparently she thinks he was probably having a midlife crisis. Seriously!

@Greggc_cc said – While Clive Myrie is playing devil’s advocate, being a "private citizen" shouldn't allow Carrie Johnson (née Symonds) to avoid disclosing any fines from breaking lockdown laws. She's the wife of the PM.

@Peachyinwales had another point - Same old line about work more hours, but among the hardest hit will be unpaid carers. Unpaid carers get £67 pw and most of that slashed if they need UC but have to care minimum 35 hrs: they save the social care system a fortune, time to help them!

@jb0332 added - Grant Shapps going on about how Sunak has done so much for the energy and prices issue! I am sick of these Tories talking such crap! We all know that Sunak has done nothing! NOTHING!

@Dante_banks posted – When pressed on whether he can completely rule out energy rationing, Grant Scapps told the BBC'S Sunday Morning programme: "Yes, I can. It's not the route that we want to go down." Lights will be out by Thursday.

@Linleygma wrote – I really need to stop watching Sunday Morning politics. These Tory MPS are so out of touch with everyday working class people. A woman who is having to close her business due to energy rises and a Tory MP tells her to crack on and see it as a challenge!
