The Princess Royal has been pleased to make the following appointments as Extra Ladies in Waiting to Her Royal Highness: Lady Mcfarlane, the Lady Elizabeth Leeming, Mrs. John Armstrong, Mrs. Dolly Maude and Mrs. Simon Rhodes upon the retirement of the following Ladies in Waiting: Lady Carew Pole, the Hon. Dame Shân Legge-bourke, Dame Rowena Feilden and Mrs. Brian Hammond. Colonel John Boyd to be appointed Private Secretary to The Princess Royal upon Mr. Charles Davies relinquishing his appointment.
The appointments to date from 1st February, 2024.

The Queen, Patron, St. John's Foundation, this morning visited the Almshouses, Chapel of St. Michael's Within, 4-5 Chapel Court, Bath, and was received by His Majesty's Lordlieutenant of Somerset (Mr. Mohammed Saddiq).
Her Majesty, Patron, afterwards attended a Service of Celebration in Bath Abbey to mark the Eight Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of St. John's Foundation.

The Princess Royal this morning visited Reboot (Moray Computer Recycling), 9 Greshop Road, Greshop Industrial Estate, Forres, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-lieutenant of Moray (Major General the Hon. Seymour Monro).
Her Royal Highness, Warden, this afternoon opened the Queen Elizabeth II classrooms at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, and was received by Ms. Lisa Kerr (Deputy Lieutenant of Moray).
The Princess Royal afterwards visited Lossie Community Hub at the Warehouse Theatre, Pitgaveny Quay,
Lossiemouth, and was received by Mrs. Joan Cowe (Deputy Lieutenant of Moray).

The Queen, President, Royal Voluntary Service, this morning visited Meadows Community Centre, 299 Arbury, Cambridge, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mrs. Julie Spence).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Wales and Scotland at Principality Stadium, Westgate Street, Cardiff, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs. Morfudd Meredith). 5 FEBRUARY 2024

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Patron, UK Armed Forces Winter Sports Association, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for France.
Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at Hôtel l'eterlou, 483 Route Albert Gacon, Méribel les Allues.
The Princess Royal this morning visited Dressability Clothing Alterations Charity, Unit 2, Bradbury House, Westmead Drive, Swindon, to mark its Twenty Fifth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty's Lord-lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs. Peter Troughton).
Her Royal Highness, Commandantin-chief (Youth), St. John Ambulance, this afternoon attended the dedication of a new Community Response Unit, Unit C1, Beacon Business Park, Devizes, Wiltshire.
