The Hairy Bikers returned to our screens last week as they embarked on a tour along Britain’s west coast. Now Stein is back on the box doing something similar. Across 15 weekday episodes, cameras follow the much-loved foodie as he takes part in what’s being described as a ‘mouth-watering cookery pilgrimage around the UK’ by its makers. Stein wants to know how the nation’s culinary culture is evolving, and after stopping off at each destinatio­n, he heads back to his Padstow kitchen to rustle up a dish inspired by what he’s seen.
