The Hairy Bikers returned to our screens last week as they embarked on a tour along Britain’s west coast. Now Stein is back on the box doing something similar. Across 15 weekday episodes, cameras follow the much-loved foodie as he takes part in what’s being described as a ‘mouth-watering cookery pilgrimage around the UK’ by its makers. Stein wants to know how the nation’s culinary culture is evolving, and after stopping off at each destination, he heads back to his Padstow kitchen to rustle up a dish inspired by what he’s seen.
