JLL appoints Reid as new head of Glasgow office
◆ JLL has named Alistair Reid has the new head of its Glasgow office. With over 17 years at JLL, he plays a crucial role and is very active in the Glasgow office market.
As leader of the Glasgow office, Reid will work closely with Cameron Stott, Head of Scotland, and Jason Hogg, who leads the Edinburgh office, to provide seamless service to clients and leverage the collective experience and diverse perspectives of the team. Whilst taking on the new role, Alistair’s primary focus will continue to be leading the Glasgow office agency team and servicing his clients.
Simon Malone, who has led Glasgow since 2021, will now focus on his role as head of building consultancy for Scotland.
Stott said: “Alistair’s deep understanding of the Glasgow and the wider West Scotland market will enable him to work closely with Jason and I, to provide the best service to our clients.” Henderson Loggie, one of Scotland’s leading independent accountancy firms with offices in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Dundee, has elected Shona Campbell as its new Chair.
Campbell leads Henderson Loggie’s Business Recovery & Insolvency team and has 25 years’ experience advising businesses across Scotland. She brings a breadth of business and leadership experience and a deep understanding of the Scottish market.
She is also current convenor of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS) Insolvency Committee which oversees industry standards and liaises with Westminster and Scottish parliaments on proposed changes to legislation.
Alba Bank has bolstered its leadership team ahead of its planned market entry by appointing Michael Mustard as General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Mustard joins Alba Bank from Aldermore Bank where he was Interim General Counsel. He brings more than 15 years’ experience in banking legal teams having previously held roles at Tesco Bank, RBS, and Citi. He trained in accountancy at PWC and as a lawyer at Brodies LLP and Allen Overy.
