Teenager’s body found

POLICE searching for a missing teenager announced yesterday that they had found a body.

Kyle Johnstone, 17, was reported missing after last being seen in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, around 10am on Friday.

Officers searching for him found a body in a park in Falkirk on Saturday.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: ‘Officers in Falkirk discovered a body within Callendar Park in Falkirk on Saturday, July 23.

‘Formal identification of the deceased has yet to take place. However, the family of missing teenager Kyle Johnstone have been informed of this development.

‘Inquiries into the full set of circumstances are ongoing but the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.’
