Let Macca be

Last week you reported that some fans of Paul McCartney, right, have taken to internet forums to say his voice is not what it was and suggesting that he stop touring. It’s certainly different from his Beatles heyday, but why should that stop him singing? To watch him perform is to see a living piece of musical history. It’s impressive that at 74 he’s still touring, and we should enjoy it while it lasts. Charlotte Pattullo, Liverpool
