EAST FIFE came from behind to secure a valuable victory over Peterhead at Bayview to move them four points clear at the top of Group A.

Jordan Brown had put the visitors 1-0 ahead after 26 minutes following Willie Muir’s save from Rory McAllister’s initial effort.

Seven minutes before halftime, however, defender Jonathan Page scored for the home side, heading in from man-of-the-match Mark Lamont’s corner.

The comeback was complete five minutes after the break as veteran striker Paul McManus slotted home from the penalty spot after Ross Brown was fouled in the box.
