Is Nicola losing cult followers?

-

TIME was when Nicola Sturgeon could fill the SECC main auditorium in Glasgow with thousands of adoring Nationalists hanging on her every word. But could her cult following now be dwindling? When the Scottish Government arranged an event for EU citizens in Edinburgh last week, one of her advisers claimed that the First Minister addressed a ‘packed room’. Yet Dog counted at least 100 empty seats – with a large contingent of Nationalist MPs and MSPs conspicuous by their absence. ALEX Salmond spent years courting Donald Trump in a bizarre ‘bromance’ before they fell out, with the former First Minister branding Trump ‘offensive, absurd and dangerous’. Yet surprisingly Mr Salmond’s former right-hand man Kevin Pringle wishes he had worked for ‘The Donald’ – allowing him to secretly derail Trump’s political ambition to become the next US President. So did Machiavellian Mr Pringle content himself with derailing Eck’s dream of independence instead?
