Don Cowie scored yesterday’s quickest goal after seven minutes as he put Hearts on the way to a 5-1 win against Inverness Caley Thistle. The midfielder’s shot finished off a fine move by the Gorgie side after Conor Sammon teed him up. Sammon doubled the lead before Cowie scored again as Sam Nicholson notched a brace. Thistle scored a consolation through Ross Draper.
