Nikolai quits Kate’s party pad – to move in with Mum

-

KATE MOSS’S troubled toyboy Count Nikolai von Bismarck has moved out of the party-mad model’s £8million home less than a year after moving in – seeking refuge back at his mum’s peaceful pad.

I can reveal Nikolai, 29, left Moss’s North London lair around a week ago and since then has been spending nights at his mother Debonaire’s palatial Belgravia home.

On Thursday night, Kate, 42, met with her young lover for dinner at The Dorchester but the pair left in separate cars at 10:45pm.

Moss was later seen arriving back home without him – but with six girlfriends in tow.

Neighbours have reported a spike in parties at Kate’s London home ever since he left. Nikolai’s decision to head home to mum follows a harrowing incident at Moss’s Cotswolds country home in May, when he reportedly attempted to jump out of a window in pursuit of an imagined intruder.

A source explains: ‘Nik is now trying to give up his party lifestyle and focus on his work as a photographer, which does not allow for living full-time at the home of Kate Moss, especially when she is having parties, for obvious reasons.

‘For now, although they are still together, they are living separately. He needs his own place and Kate needs her own space.

‘She needs to be able to blow off steam when she wants to or she will end up resenting him. Having said that, she is incredibly supportive. She knows it’s for the best and for his own good to have him out of the house at night.’

Concerned Kate immediately sought help for Nikolai after May’s window incident, even undergoing a period of party abstinence herself.

But in June, she was partying with him in tow again at the launch of her clothing collaboration Equipment. It must have been a tough test for photographer Nikolai as the venue was the Chiltern Firehouse, a favourite celebration venue for Moss.

Kate, currently divorcing The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince, counts Nikolai’s mother Debbie as one of her best friends.

Last week, a staff member at the von Bismarck residence said Nikolai was ‘out’ but did not confirm where he officially lives.
