Red faces at MP gaffe
AN SNP bigwig has been caught on tape criticising his own party members.
Ahead of conference, members of the party were invited to submit resolutions to be discussed.
But Patrick Grady, the MP for Glasgow North, was heard admitting that half of the resolutions were ‘not fit for public consumption’. A leaked recording of the meeting has emerged in which he suggests some members need saving from themselves.
A Scots Tory spokesman said: ‘After seeing some of the nonsense that was deemed appropriate at the SNP’s conference, it’s frightening to think what must have been ruled out.’
