of the pro-indy movements which was advertising at the conference this year was trying to get activists to attend an independence rally in Glasgow with the rallying cry: ‘The Unicorn is Rising.’ Given that unicorns are mythical beasts that no one ever expects to see, ever again, was that really the wisest choice of slogan?
