Who needs an Ostrich when a jumper will do?
HAVING once been a junior doctor, I appreciate the benefits of napping in the day to catch up on sleep. Power naps of 20 to 30 minutes are thought to improve performance, mood and energy levels – and some modern workplaces even offer employees quiet areas where they can doze off during the day. But I can’t imagine ever wanting the Ostrich, left, a £65(!) balaclava-inspired pillow designed as a power-napping aid. It totally covers the head with cushioning, apart from its ventilation holes. I’m impressed at the entrepreneurial spirit but I’ll stick to my own napping device: a rolled-up jumper on the desk!
