THE TARTAN ARMY TURNING AGAINST HIM...

-

‘Listen, it’s not a great feeling. I may have heard one or two boos but that’s part of the deal. People get disappointed, nervous, down. We’re all the same. There’s a disappointment period there and you have to expect some reaction. ‘I’ve not got a problem with it. I don’t sit here indignant and think people shouldn’t talk about me. Of course they should. That’s the nature of the game. We’d all like it to be in a manner that is civil. ‘I can understand totally why there would be questions, especially from people who go away to games and start to get nervous. But when we go away from the field, I don’t sit there and think about myself. I think: “What could I have done to make it better for them?” And that’s the reason why we keep doing this stuff. I love this job. I love bumping into supporters and I get a great response from them.’
