Let’s have an honest debate over the NHS
Isn’t it time to get real about the NHS? It’s simple arithmetic: if the population increases yet you close hospitals, there will be a problem. However, if more people have access to private healthcare, funded by their employer, you could get to a point where the closures make sense. By deliberately closing hospitals, and therefore increasing waiting times, more companies will offer private healthcare to attract and retain employees, so saving public money.
