The Kwik way to a big bill

I see that Kwik Fit are still up to their old tricks. My son took a tyre to one branch but was told it could not be repaired and so had to buy another one. Fortunately, he brought the old tyre home and took it to another Kwik Fit branch where he was told there was no reason why it couldn’t be repaired. I submitted a complaint on his behalf and he received a full refund.

Paul Lawrence, Ruislip, Middlesex After I had my car serviced, the mechanic said I would need new brake pads shortly but he couldn’t do the work for a few days so suggested I go to Kwik Fit. At my local branch I was told I needed discs as well and they could do them at a discounted price. When I checked with my original mechanic later, he assured me the discs were fine. I’ve never gone back to Kwik Fit since.
