CHARLOTTE GRIFFITHS’ IRRESISTIBLE SOCIAL DIARY

ROMEO BECKHAM’S latest job isn’t quite as glamorous as modelling for Burberry – it involves washing up dirty cups. The 14-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is toiling away in the same West London cafe where elder brother Brooklyn was employed in 2014. Romeo, right, is thought to be earning just £2.73 an hour. At that rate, he’ll only have to work for 16,483 hours to match the £45,000 fee he banked for his Burberry ad! THE bubbly is definitely on Made In Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews after he told pals that he scooped up to £70,000 by betting on himself to win The Jump. The Old Etonian wagered £3,500 that he would triumph in Channel 4’s winter sports show, despite his odds being 19-1 at one point. The 27-year-old faced tough competition from rivals including cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins but Spencer beat Olympic gymnast Louis Smith to take the title. HE PLAYS a sex-obsessed psychiatrist in What The Butler Saw but Rufus Hound required a session with an A&E doctor after an on-stage mishap. The 38-year-old gashed his hand on a pair of scissors during the first act of the farce at the Curve Theatre in Leicester. Despite bleeding heavily, Rufus – pictured right on stage with co-star Dakota Blue Richards – carried on gamely, but after the final curtain he was taken to hospital where he received stitches. To add insult to injury, one critic awarded the play only two stars out of five. Ouch! THEATRE mogul Sir Cameron Mackintosh has revealed his latest production… cheese. But instead of a chorus line, he’s made a herd of dairy cows his leading ladies. Sir Cameron has been making cheddar on his 1,600-acre Stavordale estate in Somerset for years and giving it to friends as Christmas stocking fillers, but good reviews have encouraged him to go a step further. Earlier this month, the impresario applied to trademark Stavordale Cheese so that it can be marketed.
