Roseanna’s angry finger of shame
THE Brandenburg gate in Berlin was bathed in the Union flag in solidarity after the Westminster terrorist attack, with similar tributes from Tel Aviv to Paris.
Yet for many, the enduring image of Scotland’s response to the atrocity will be Roseanna Cunningham’s finger-jabbing at the Tories in the Scottish parliament, outraged that her ‘debate’ on independence was suspended because people were dying at Westminster. Shameful.
Meanwhile, Nationalist MP George Kerevan tweeted a smiling selfie, telling the world Westminster was in lockdown. To think his views as a journalist were once taken seriously.
