Elderly deserve better in wealthy UK
As a family, we have looked after my elderly, widowed mum for more than ten years.
During this time we have dealt with building works and a hip replacement, and brought in electric beds, a stairlift and private medical help to improve her quality of life.
By looking after her in our homes, we have made her life happy and secure at the heart of her family. We have asked for next to nothing from the NHS or the Government.
