Alonso has no time for Honda slips

FERNANDO ALONSO has issued his strongest warning yet that he will not tolerate Honda failings much longer.

After McLaren’s struggles with their Japanese engine supplier continued yesterday when qualifying only 13th, the two-time world champion issued a stern ultimatum.

‘We will not be 13th all season, or I will not be,’ said Alonso. ‘I expect a big change. We are McLaren-Honda. If we are not in the top five, on the podium, the rest is losing time.’
