The steamy challenges of middle age

HELP! Last week I was in a hotel with an ‘en suite’ plentifully stocked with tiny toiletries. I discovered only on departure that I’d been washing my hair with shower gel followed by body lotion (the end results were not much worse than my usual ‘rinse and repeat’ with shampoo and conditioner). How do readers deal with this common age-related problem as glasses fog up in the steam and many of us are far too frit to have expensive laser eye surgery?
